Our latest reported snow total is 16.5", but it's still snowing, so we might get even better.
I'm all stocked up on Mad Dog and imitation cheese spread, so I'm rooting for at least a foot and a half.

Some sort of gelatinous goo in a jar that we put in potato soup. Otherwise you have to mix cheese with milk and warm it and other hard stuff.
This is the church wine that the family likes.
I like several Pinot Noirs and Merlots that cost way more money for way less volume, but the family likes the church wine. I mix vodka with it so it has a taste and/or I don't care. It has the benefit of coming with both a screw cap and by the gallon.

We didn't die today. It was impressive this morning, but the temps were 34 F and it was sorta melting while blowing at 30 mph. The storm closed the interstate for a couple hundred miles out west.
We ended up with 4 inches downtown, 11 inches just to the west and 7-8 inches here. But it was heavy, wet melting snow. I think if it was dry we'd have gotten a foot here. According to my workout, heartrate monitor/watch, I burned 1400 calories blowing snow and shoveling. It was like shoveling slush with 6 inches of snow on top.
The weatherman called it "heart attack" snow. The snow plow driver takes pride in figuring out how many tons of snow he can pile in your driveway with added points for packing it into the highest drift. Then he waits at the end of the street until you blow it clear and drives by with his evil cackling laugh while piling it back up.

It is snowing again, started yesterday and has been intermittent since then. Not a lot of accumulation but they are calling for up to 6" today so I decided to play it safe and lazy and stay home.

Whatever it is I'm doing is from home, but I don't think it passes muster as 'work'.
Forecast is for 60+ degrees with light wind and full sun. In February.

It's about a thousand degrees out today (I just checked--65F), melting off the last of the snow.
It's pretty great because you can go out and see someone wearing shorts and flip flops and someone in a parka, and if you're super lucky, it's the same person.

Ha ha! We have 8-9" of snow and counting, and I am waiting for my nephew to wake up because he's never seen this much snow in real life. He was impressed last night, when we had maybe an inch or so.
