We had turkey, bread and sausage dressing. mashed potatoes, brussels spouts, gravy*, and cranberry relish. And I am now officially tired of all those things so it's time to start with the leftover re-makings.
* I am terrible at pan gravies, so it's all lumpy and separated. I am pretty danged good at it when you start out with a basic roux and go from there, but when I start out with pan drippings, I screw it up in various exciting ways every single time. My mom always hated cooking and thought it was a horrible chore, but she could make a perfect pan gravy every time. She just never taught me because she never imagined her daughter would be burdened with cooking, and I never learned on my own because the occasion just doesn't arrive often.
