Well, if the online comic book is considered canon, then Sylar has Charlie's powers. Super memory. That's certainly not telekinesis.
I'm grateful. I'm tired of the whole "telekinesis is everything" theory. It's too much of a stretch and it always seems to make telekinesis way more powerful than what is understood in the general comic book world.
I guess Mohinder's blinding stupidity also blinded me to that obvious bit.
I'm glad that Matt finally got involved in the main storyline. His side story simply sucked. I don't care about his wife. I don't care about his unborn child (may not even be his). I don't care about his failing career.
But, I do care about how the Bennets are gonna hand him his own ass.
It's like Mohinder's stupidity is a highly infectious virus. Here's hoping Sylar succumbs to it.
I'm so with you on Matt. Although it bugged me that he didn't tell the rebel forces there that he can't read Bennet's mind on account of the dampening Haitian.
I don't understand why the Haitian's presence didn't dampen the powers of "invisible guy" and "can-barely-believe-he-can-absorb-powers boy" on the roof during the taser incident.
Sorry I suck at names. Though I know that Matt is the cop, and I found his storyline interesting.
I don't think he's a universal powers dampener. I think he has a mind control thing going on: he can erase memories and put up a deflector array around people's thoughts.
He was able to shut down Matt, but since Matt's powers are mind-based, that's no surprise. Same with shutting down Eden's voice of persuasion.
He was not able to keep Nathan from flying, however.
In other words, I agree with liv.
Matt not telling them about the Haitian was so "Lost". It bugged the hell out of me.
I wonder if Peter just has Sylar's telekineses or all of the powers Sylar ever stole. Considering that the teke itself was stolen, I'm assuming that Peter also stole the super memory and freeze powers. Unless, Sylar can only use one power at a time and Peter stole only the teke since Sylar was actively using it when they were fighting.
Ah ok. My misunderstanding of the Haitian is a result of missing a lot of the earlier episodes. I should have got that his powers are restricted to the mind.
In case you weren't just funnin' me: HRG = Horn Rimmed Glasses.
When Eric Roberts first showed up in the flashback I thought I was seeing things. (I blame the black-n-white-o-vision.) Then I couldn't come up with his name, could only think, "Horse mouth's brother; now what's her name?"
Anyway, a lot of things happened last night and I was on the edge of my seat for most of it. I'm going to be very disappointed if next week's episode isn't just as delicious.
Another excellent episode. Loved the solo-focus on the happenings in the Bennett household.
As great as the episode was, the ending was just simply overwhelming. HRG sacrificed his love for Claire to ensure she would escape. If the Haitian was successful and went "deep" enough, then HRG is not going to be the same man when we him again.
He'll be the company man who reluctantly adopted Claire, who tried to kill his partner for the company and who was only a surrogate father. It's going to be heartbreaking when he meets up with Claire once more.
I'm looking forward to Matt Parkman being HRG's new partner. He needs a more active storyline and looks like he'll finally get one.

Here's a wonderful quote from TWOP about that special guest star:

Yep. You can rewatch the episode here, and there's a link to the right for watching it with commentary. The guy playing HRG, Jack Coleman, is one of the commentators.
But I haven't downloaded the comic books. Whaddya think I am, obsessed?! (Oh wait, I already confessed to that, didn't I? *sigh* Off to download ...)
'twas mostly a comment on my laziness, not the difficulty of the code.
Spoiler tag isn't in the Quick Reply box anyways, so I wouldn't have seen it. Thanks though, ld.
Yeah, Mohinder was impressing me. Emphasis on was.
Twists and turns though! Hiro finally has the sword and seems back to full strength, HRG screws up, and Linderman, finally. (who the hell is he? looks so familiar)
