Probably has been posted before, but I'm not reading through 37 pages of thread to find out.

It's killing me how many games I recognize but cannot name. I've played a lot of these games and saw these death screens a lot, too.

How about a collaborative effort? Ones I know beyond the obvious Pacman, Galaga, and Asteroid:
0:52: Raiden-X
0:55 California Driver (or whatever - arcade game with the seat and wheel)

Yeah, the thing is it's not for generating pics, it's for designing the toy which you then buy. The cheap flash shit is just the preview.

Re: The Gallery of Awesome
I played a lot of arcade games in the late 70s and early 80s, but I only know of a handful of games after that period, and even then it's by name only.
The video left out a couple of my favorite games; Spy Hunter and Elevator Action. I totally mastered those games.
By the way, though they are in storage, I still have an Atari 2600 with 150+ cartridges and a Colecovision with over 70 cartridges.
I also have an Intellivision (5 cartridges), SNES (+/- 10 catridges), and a Sega Genesis (4 cartridges) that I bought at a thrift store. All of them were in one box that I paid $10 for.

I recognise a lot of the games, most of which people have named already. What kills me is that some of them I know I logged dozens of hours playing but can't remember their names! Some may have even been named, I'm not sure....
What are the games at these times?

One of us is slightly off in the times, probably me!
It's the one just before Shinobi, the one with the little boy in the jungle?
And it's the one just before Gauntlet, with the ghosts and zombies and whatnot?

The best part is that once you know the name you can google images of it and the memories come flooding back
