OMG, it's killing me that I can't find it and it's because I can't remember their stupid friends' stupid names. I just read the synopsis of every fucking episode of that show (was it really on for 7 seasons?!) to no avail.
Who are the friends of Elliot's that Maya can't stand because, among other reasons, they named their two dogs after themselves? Which Elliot then defends because they were being ironic, as if that's a defense.

All you guys had to tell me was that this show had Paris Hilton on a pink Vespa and I would have watched it years ago. God, it's like you don't even know me!

I'm really enjoying Kristen Bell on "House of Lies. Mayhaps I should give this show a shot.

Re: Veronica Mars FOREVER
They rescheduled my surgery to just a week before the movie's opening weekend. Now I'm not so sure I'll be up to a half hour drive and walk through an outlet mall to the theater. I will probably buy tickets for a Sunday showing to give me a couple extra healing days, but I may end up not using them.

Re: Veronica Mars FOREVER
I have completely finished second and third seasons in the rewatch. I have the same feeling now as I did when I originally watched. That series finale is just UGH. The best and worst thing ever.
Through my first watch I didn't understand the LoVe relationship. Now I think I get it, at least partly. Secondly, I would just die if Enrico Colantoni could star in some noir things. WAS HE NOT JUST GREAT. My single greatest critique of it all is that there was not nearly enough Backup.

Re: Veronica Mars FOREVER
The LoVe relationship is the only one worth seeing, everyone else is a bore.
ETA: My opinion is prolly clouded by my thinking Jason Dohring is the shit. He should be like Edward Norton stature by now, IMO. He's a damn fine actor (and not unfortunate in the sexy department either)

Re: Veronica Mars FOREVER
My ex-wife liked this show a lot but even though I tried, I just couldn't get into it. It was like 90210 syndrome cranked up to 11. There is just absolutely no possible way to believe Kristen Bell is anywhere near high school age. It's not just the age of the actress - in fact that's probably the least part of it, although it was noticeable. Veronica just doesn't think like a kid anywhere near as much as she should. It's like she's the only smart person in a world of morons, or she's an adult in a world full of children.
I think the only show that didn't completely blow this up was Buffy, and even then they had some real stretches. But still, Buffy and her supporting cast had plenty of moments where they thought like high school kids, and acted like high school kids (and it wasn't always a good thing).

Re: Veronica Mars FOREVER
The cameos and guest stars are all p. awesome. I was all "Kevin Smith!", which has a little story in itself. I love Kevin Smith, but I don't like his movies all that much. I can watch his stand up all day though. Laura San Giacamo, always great. Joss Whedon. Paris Hilton. PATTY FUCKING HEARST!

LOL, I am not a fan either, but she actually took the job knowingly, and played herself so perfectly I was kind of delighted.

Re: Veronica Mars FOREVER
I finally got around to watching the new season and I thought it was great. Not "must-see TV" unless you're a big vMars fan, but still very satisfying.

Re: Veronica Mars FOREVER
If you're a Kristen Bell fan and haven't seen The Good Place, I highly recommend this series; flipping tv tropes, did not see the turns coming, and tons of entertainment that includes the most (and most fun!) discussions of moral philosophy; regular references to not only Kant and Hegel but also the Jacksonville Jaguars. Great cast!

Re: Veronica Mars FOREVER
10-4 on The Good Place. It's terrific, and for Parks & Recreation fans such as myself, features a lot of alumni from that show.
