Pig who shot and killed two costing Contra Costa over $9m in settlements has been sentenced to 6 years in jail.
A confused man suffering from mental illness was knocking on people’s doors, so the cops intervened and a slow speed car chase ensued. The pig in question heard about the comotion on the radio, randomly inserted himself into the situation by stopping at an intersection, jumping out of his vehicle, gun drawn, then shooting the driver (who’s crime was not stopping for police) seven times as he tried to slowly get by the stopped vehicle.

Partly related, it’s the general consensus in SF that the SFPD are purposefully ignoring property crimes in protest to the DA saying he will prosecute excessive use of force.

In real events the people who work for government are protected by government.
The Court did determine he was attacked by police with motive and actions that intended kill, attempted 2nd degree murder, according to Florida law.
Then they determined its OK because the police were afraid for their own lives.

We clearly can't have reporters writing stories about deputy sheriffs keeping their knees on the heads of handcuffed inmates for three minutes. The only rational response to such alleged, supposed, so-called journalism is to have the Head Pig in Charge do a presser - with the offending "journalist" in attendance, of course - talking about how the "journalist" probably did some serious crimin' in connection with the "reporting."

THREAD. A rare thing is happening today: we are about to get a window into the secret world of how cops shape the news. There's a hearing this afternoon into how San Francisco cops manipulate the media through “strategic communications.” The internal documents are shocking.
I lived in SF for about a decade, and I experienced first-hand how incredibly arrogant the SFPD are, and how little they care about basic public safety. (The fire department is arrogant and contemptuous of the public as well, but that's another rant.) And I'm a white male; I also observed 2nd-hand how people of color and/or limited means are treated. SF has one of the most liberal boards of supervisors in the country, yet squat has been done about the cops.

At the moment it’s a pretty open secret that SFPD is dragging their feet on any crime that doesn’t require them to send a hail of bullets at a brown person, they hide behind the refrain that ‘Chesa will just let them off’ so why bother, but if they never arrest anyone of course the DA is going to have trouble getting a high conviction count. It’s really all about the fact he’s unwilling to back up their hail of bullets first, handcuffs second strategy.
It’s especially frustrating as thefts have increased and spread out (Anyone who visits SF, we are serious, don’t leave anything that even appears to be valuable, even if it isn’t, in your car), and it would be nice it it decreased but ultimately a lot of the public is more willing to accept store robberies and smashed windows over ducking because SFPD has shown up to deal with the shoplifter in their chosen way.
Hard to believe this isn't fake. I guess if this guy was that panicky maybe he really wasn't aware of the cops talking and knocking on the glass, and that would explain the fainting, too.

Tomorrow at almost weekend oclock SFPD is expected to hold a conference where they announce they were called to an assault by a knife wielding man and had to shoot and kill both the assailant and the victim.
Arrived on scene to see man in danger!
Shot man in danger to death.
Scene clear, man no longer in danger.

SFPD released body camera footage and wow does it make them look bad!
The body camera footage shows a man laying on top of another may holding a bloody knife in the air pointed at the man under him, the man under him holding his wrist, with 12+ officers milling about around 5-6ft away, like it’s a cocktail party. Over the next 9 minutes an officer occasionally leans in around the officer with a shield to about 3 - 4ft away to hit him with pepperspray or a beanbag round, no one ever physically touches the man on top, over 12 officers just standing around, then the man with the knife looks like he’s really going to attack the man on the ground, four of them shoot him but they are so close and ontop of him they also hit the victim underneath. Neither man ever stood up or made any threatening motion to the police. Both executed in kicking distance.
If we take everything on good faith here, it would appear he got awarded money for being so ignorant of the horror of the nazis to not understand why likening himself to a nazi officer would be offensive or sow distrust in the community his jackboot stood upon.
