Anyway, I shouldn't be surprised, but it still feels like escalation of the conspiratorial far right nuttiness.
Seems like every country has its own twist on sov-cit style legal theory that modern governments at some point became illegitimate. I was aware of the freeman-of-the-land variant we have down here, but this Reichsbürger stuff is a new one on me.
The speculation on Russian connections is... interesting times stuff. I suspect though that if any connections exist they will be at long enough length for plausible deniability.
