Financial Action Task Force (FATF), an international organization that monitors and sets guidelines to protect against money laundering and terrorism financing added Turkey, Jordan and Mali to its watch list Thursday.
The Paris-based Financial Action Task Force's “gray list” calls for increased scrutiny of financial dealings in the three countries, which have agreed to work on the group's recommendations. Being put on the list can scare away investors and creditors, hurting exports, output and consumption. It also can make global banks wary of doing business with a country.
The FATF also announced a new strategy for combatting corruption through shell companies or other anonymous entities. The group said the proposed rules would force countries to set up a registry listing who actually owns a company that must be verified and updated within a month.
"The proposals will close loopholes and regulatory weaknesses that for too long have allowed fake companies to be used as a cover for criminal activity or to hide wealth from tax authorities,” FATF President Marcus PLEYER said.
The proposed rules follow the recent release of the “Pandora Papers” by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists. That report shed light on the financial dealings of the elite and corrupt and how they have used offshore accounts and tax havens to shield trillions of dollars in assets.

…. For justice a success, huh? Over Islamic terror?

We should ask ourselves what justice-defined harshly in the quasi book written by the caliph of judiciary system lacking country viz. The North Korea in Turkey-it could be when we could percept the roaring waves sweeping the Kurdish child Ayman’s dead, heartrendingly lying prone body drowned already before the Caliph’s officials’ very eyes at a lonely Mediterranean sea coast besieged by that same Caliph’s sea guards, and heard the armoured vehicles, say their restless roaring-smashing both girl and boy-cyclists dead bodies all over the South eastern Anatolia, which, now nearer and now farther off, punctuating the distance like the note of a vultures drawing circles above carcasses in a desert , to have shewed us in perspective that deserted countryside through which the Judeo-Christian or Kurdish children should be hurrying towards the nearest place-slightly likely-having the chance to be adjacent to any hotel hosting Eastern or Western travellers, journalists and the like: the path that he followed being fixed for ever in our memories by the general exclamation due to being in a strange place, to doing unusual things, to the last words of conversation, to farewells exchanged beneath an unfamiliar far lamp of the armoured, killing vehicles which echoed still in his ears amid the silence of the terrorized caliphate-the land still governed by the unjust author of justice- day in and day out; and to the woeful prospect of being once again at home wrapped by European Civilization, no matter in Paris, Saint Petersburg or New York.
