Yeah, sorry, to be clear, I am not in favor of cutting loose our second-most populous state to fend for themselves, especially since we've seen how awesome they are at stuff like extreme weather and electricity. I named the thread after one of the horrifying pillars of the horrifying platform.

Eh. One hundred percent (100%) of Texas statewide elected officials are Republicans.
Statewide Elected Officials
I keep hearing about Texas as a purple state. Just haven't seen a great deal of evidence for that yet. The blue areas tend to be in the southwest part of the state, and Texas hispanics seem to be getting more rather than less Republican.

I was thinking about Lil Puppet the other day because I watched Inside Out. How has she adjusted to the move now that it has been years? Has it been long enough for her to appreciate how much better she has it?

Yes, and hell yes. She was terribly unhappy at the time, but now that she's quite vocal on political opinions, and cares about people, she knows we dodged a bullet -- possibly even literally.
