Thanks for the rec. This wasn't on my radar at all.

I rewatch The Good Place all the time, it's serious comfort viewing. Michael Schur is such a great creator, he is so thoughtful and has a ton of heart.

Presumed Innocent on Apple TV is good . I love Bill Camp he’s my fave right now.

On a side note I saw and advertisement for The Snookie Shop. Which featured Snookie from Jersey Shore, which I only watched on their commercials, selling a clothing line. She was wearing a winter cap and dark sunglasses and they shot her from very far away. And I thought Oh honey, we all get old. Zoom in on those wrinkles and own it.

The Devils Hour

Two seasons. It is on prime.

It’s a creepy show about a serial killer, but it’s also more.

I really like it, though there are recurring scenes of a suicide and a good bit of death.

There are ostensibly supernatural things afoot.

The spoilers are about the nature of the show and not particularly character or plot specific but are definitely spoilers.

We watched Man on the Inside. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fun show.

New shoes, one week at time:
Silo season 2 (Rebecca Ferguson does entire scenes alone without dialogue, brilliantly)
Skeleton Crew (Star Wars)

And an older show, 4 seasons available I think:
Slow Horses

I love Slow Horses. I love the premise and the flawed but highly trained and/or experienced characters.

We are also enjoying Silo.

I’m into Silo for the scifi sociology of a longterm pretty overtly fascist regime.

We have not, but I'm considering it. Have you?

I do listen to podcasts, and some of them talk about the differences between the show and the books, without outright spoiling the books.

Has anyone seen Bad Monkey?

Andrew Yancy is a former police detective who has been reduced to conducting restaurant inspections in South Florida. A severed arm found by a tourist pulls Yancy into a world of greed and corruption that decimates the land and environment in both Florida and The Bahamas.
Vince Vaughn stars and I could pretty much watch him in anything. I don't think there is anyone better at just riffing non-stop and being hilarious. Overall the show was good, but I wouldn't say spectacular. Vince was the best part of the show. Rob Delany was excellent in a different sort of role for him and Jodie Turner-Smith as the Dragon Queen was fucking amazing.

If you like Vince Vaughn, you should watch it.

Yes, and I think the changes they've made are generally fine - they preserve the essence and add some unpredictability for those of us who've read it.

All I was going to say is if you think it feels fascist already, just wait.

I think the Silo books are great. I have not seen the show due to streaming services. :grumpy:

Watching a series called "Landman"
It's one of the latest series from Taylor Sheridan who did the Yellowstone series.

This is feckin good stuff. Billy Bob Thornton plays the main Character, and does a fantastic job.

I think I'll follow it and see where it goes.

*narrator's voice* he did not.

Instead I started re-watching Legion while doing the dishes and I forgot how it's so trippy and amazing. Watching it again while knowing some of the reveals before they happen it actually makes soooo much more sense than the first time I saw it

Aubrey Plaza is such a gift.
