If your Christianity causes you to be offended by someone asking the most powerful person in the country to be merciful towards the powerless, then you have profoundly misunderstood the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Also, if you get mad and lash out when someone calmly suggests you should try to be kind or have empathy for those less fortunate, you are probably a sociopath.

Notice the way they worded it specifically to exclude Obama from running again.
They realize Trump might decline rapidly from age, but the GOP would not be capable of ousting him the way the Democrats were able to get Biden to drop out. They are aware that a Dementia Don vs. Obama campaign is not a good idea for them.
