It is kickass, totally. Kiddo and I watched 4 episodes tonight. The production values are astounding for a web series, it is all shot on location and there are no special effects, and the story actually is interesting (good vs. evil but with magic powers of dance!). One ep is done in graphic novel fashion.

It was surprising and refreshing and entertaining.

So I was just telling Matlock about this, and then I remembered that there is a thread for it, so.

Today, I am on the Netflixes checking some shit, and Netflix is all like, Hey Lisa Pea, you sure would like this movie here Wild Zero. And I am like LOL Netflix, that is the same name as a Guitar Wolf song, and I fucking love Guitar Wolf! I think I will look at this movie you think I will love 4.3 out of 5 stars!

So I do, and WILD ZERO IS A MOVIE WITH ZOMBIES AND STUFF THAT STARS THE MEMBERS OF GUITAR WOLF IN THE ROLE OF A BAND ALSO CALLED GUITAR WOLF!

That movie came out in like 2000, and nobody told me and I didn't know even though I fucking love Guitar Wolf! Only Netflix loves me enough to tell me about it, and also how did Netflix even know?

I'm sorry, Lisarea. I have seen Wild Zero but did not know that you loved Guitar Wolf. By the way, heed the warnings not to try the drinking game. I believe them to be wise.

When I watched it a few years ago I called my best friend, who is a cult rock star of a similar subculture to Guitar Wolf and told him he was nowhere near as cool as Guitar Wolf. He got really bitter and sulky because apparently people tell him that all the time and they are not teasing him from a position of love. Poor Mick, Spin's 28th coolest person some years ago, but still not as cool as Guitar Wolf.

The only question is: just when is the internet going to come out of the closet to its parents and end the Charade? It's fooling no one that it's meterosexual.

I must admit though I am looking forward to a show about interior designers in an epic fight between good and evil, chintz and plaid or taupe and magenta or perhaps flight attendants or Village People tribute acts or some such clichés. However the interweb will have to pull out all the stops if it wants to out camp Glee. Interesting times.

This thread piqued my interest then I promptly forgot about it. However liv recommended that I check out LXD last night, and after seeing episode one of season one I promptly watched every episode of both seasons. Now I'm pining for the start of season three.

This is the best thing I have ever seen.
