I'm a huge fan of Ray Harryhausen's stop-motion effects, but the screenplay for Clash of the Titans sucked so bad that I don't care much for it. I'm also a big fan of Greek mythology, so the way the screenplay shits all over the stories is irksome. This preview makes it seem like they took a mediocre film and remade it into a soulless twitchfest, so I'm neither excited nor worried about it.
Now if someone remakes Jason and the Argonauts, I might need to slap someone.

So, are there any upcoming movies you are looking forward to? Here's the trailer for the remake of "Clash of the Titans". It looks good to me, but I'm not a huge fan of the original, so I've got no emotional investment.
I have but one thing to say to the producers of this remake: robot owl or gtfo.

I'm leaning toward wanting to see that as well. Admittedly, they didn't show much, and the fade in and out editing made me want to vomit. But it looks better treated than other shows being movied from my childhood (Dukes of Hazzard, Starsky & Hutch).
I am completely obsessed with the new Wolfman movie. I may not be able to afford to see it while it's in theaters due to broke-ass hoboness, but by gum I will try.
That looks like one of the Shogun Warriors I used to collect as a kid. In the comic book version they were giant robots like that. Gaiking (assuming that's the name of the robot) looks like Mazinga.
ETA: I don't remember ever seeing Gaiking, but reading my own link says this IS one of the freaking Shogun Warriors. Apparently the toy line was cobbled together from various anime shit I never saw. My forays at TVTropes constantly remind me that the world of anime is so vast that I'll never have the geek cred to grasp a fraction of it.
