Harrison Ford is back, in his break out action role. In a world...*heart beats* One man...*heart beats* must fight for the family he loves...*heart beats* Against those who would rob his bank, taking money that's not even his...*heart beats* He'll risk the lives of his family to save some rich people's electronic money by pulling shit instead of playing along...*heart beats* Firewall...*heart beats*-said like Hal Douglas, aka The Movie Trailer Voice Guy
Well, even though that's how the movie goes, which is given away in just the trailer(stupid move) the movie is really good. I have just one problem with it
Harrison's character's identity is stolen and gambling debts are rung up in his name. Ok, this kind of stuff happens, sure, but for someone who works in bank security, wouldn't they know to be careful? I don't work for a bank and I burn any mail I have, even if it just has only my name on it. Social Security numbers, bank pen codes etc., they're undoubtably going in the fire. It's impossible to piece back together from ash and gas when you don't know how it was pieced together before it was burned. At that's impossible after the fact. Burn your shit, dummy. Microwave your CDs you don't want read, then grind, cut or bang them into pieces. Or burn 'em. Wipe your floppies with magnets, and/or burn them. Wipe your hard drives with large NIB magnets, then cut the disk into little bits and melt them down. Or drop them into acid, but it better be the right type to "eat" the metal.
