Three Heartbroke Daily stories have been published in an actual paper literary journal. Knox Dupree is listed as the author.
I posted about this once before, but my son runs a fictional website here:
the heartbroke daily
Knox Dupree is the lovelorn hero -- he's chronicled his tales of love lost with more than 100 women already. Most of the stories are written by my son and two of his friends -- but I've contribued 8 or 10, including Selene the Astrologer, Jenn the Grandmaster, Lisa the Tennis Star, and Mary the Nunumiat, and more (for anyone who's interested in looking them up).
Now three Knox Dupree stories are in Slice Magazine (I wrote one of them with my son) Here's a New Yorker article about a launch party for this issue of the Slice:

Here's the magazine's web site:

I got my copy last night -- I'm working my way through it.
By the way, the Heartbroke daily web site is now accepting heartbreak stories from all writers. These are not supposed to be Knox Dupree stories (Knox is channelled only by the four of us), but random vignettes, either fictional or nonfictional. Here's the link, if anyone wants to try his hand at it:

Also, here's a link from Glamour Magazine touting the website. (That's my son in the picture):
