Oh, whether they are others inside America or outside, it is their lot to suffer, because the suffering of others is the sole mechanism by which we were/are/shall again be great. Make no mistake, whatever you have today, you have because they have suffered for it - I am the same. It has nothing to do with fairness. It is the order of things and nothing else. They suffer more for our guilt than we do. Such is our greatness.

If it helps, this seems to me to be rather temporary. We will have our turn in our lifetimes.

I think when These People™ use the phrase "constitutional crisis" they don't mean "a situation that puts the Constitution into a crisis", they mean a situation where they themselves might have to do some actual political work in which opponents might mention the Constitution.

Wow that was unhinged even for Trump. It's pretty impressive when Bush Jr seems intelligent and eloquent in comparison.
I wonder how far we are away from the alternative universe where Trump tries to nuke a state that voted against him, only he tweets the command instead and gets the states name wrong? Cause it feels closer than just a few days ago.

Given his pathological need to blame others, is this the first time that he's suggested he thinks he will be impeached? Cause it sure sounds like he's sure he's going to get impeached and is thus prepping in his mind and his cults the scape goat that it's not really his fault when it happens.

We in the Resistance know that Donald Trump needs to be institutionalized and that Russia owns him and his family like a hog farmer owns a pen of pigs. Sure, it'd be easy to just go to the press, admit that I'm someone really high up in the administration, and reveal all the awful things I see on an hourly basis, like how racist he is, how he'll shit on his desk and announce, "Look, I made another Ben Carson" after which he tosses the shit at Sarah Sanders and laughs as she runs out of the room, crying.

But I'm not going to do that because we are this close to taking away abortion rights from women and who knows? Maybe we'll teach those queers they don't have a right to get married. Constantly being on the verge of Armageddon is a small price to pay. We're good as long as we can steer this hulking, mentally-deficient manchild to keep signing the documents we put in front of him. He's happy just to show off that he can write his name.

Besides, by writing this, I'm getting you all to wonder who I am rather than worry about Brett Kavanaugh, who is going to make liberals so sad, or those kids we're never going to reunite with their parents. And that's a good day's work.
