We're having anasazi bean, andouille sausage, and turnip green soup, but I wish I could remember gooder how I made it before.

The tomato soup turned out. Oh how it turned out. Carrots cooked just right, cooked but still firm, by dumping them in 1 hour through the two hours simmering. The red pepper bits added at the same time turned into juice-filled flavor explosions. It's very thick with barley and peas. I also added some turkey I had handy. This is the first soup I've made I'd rate higher than 'edible'.

I had a craving today for a sub. My fav is the veggie/cheese sub with extra onions, green olives &hot peppers. I sent Widget to get me one and he called me to ask what kind of meat I wanted on it :laugh:
