986,142 Aw, nuts. I missed today's Bette Davis referencing.  Baby Jane was so terrifically over the top that I loved the crap out of it.
Great movie: Now, Voyager. Features Davis long before she came a horror diva of sorts. It's all romantical and stuff. In fact, I feel I must see it again ...

Intersting that dvds should mentioned. I got off work and drove to Walmart. I decided to treat myself. BTW, going to Walmart at 11:30 isn't as quiet as you'd think. I thought by going late at night, there wouldn't be many people. Right. Night shift, unloading boxes.
Anyway, I purchased 3 dvds, Liar Liar, some Stooges, and a Journey compilation of concert and studio footage.

Widget and I have a business associate who has brain cancer. He was going on holidays a few weeks ago and kept losing his balance. He went to hospital and they found a tumor in his brain, did emergency surgery.
The tumor turned out to be the most aggressive form of cancer there is and even with intense treatment they gave him a 50/50 chance of living a year.
It is so so so sad, I wish they medical profession would come up with better treatments /options/cures/support.

986,128 Yeah I know what you mean. Hopefully, they will come up with some better treatments soon.
Brain cancer is a real bitch. A friend of mine died from it while I was in college, his dorm room was right next to mine, and he went home one Summer and never came back. He lived for a month after they diagnosed it, the really sad thing is his sister died a year later from the same type of cancer, and she went just as suddenly as he did..
