Just to join in te dialogue regarding mayor voting.
By my observations from a few games I've played there, the general reasoning behind mayor voting at ratz anyway is that they usually vote for someone who they suspect might be scum or at least as a better way to read someone who is difficult to read.
I'm guessing it's because their vote breaks any tie and how they vote in pivotal situations could possibly allow others to get a better read on them. People will be analyzing their vote over all others in such situations.
I'm thinking that this is why diva still wants an explaination as to why you are voting Crumb for mayor, Adam.
You two are apparently seeing things differently regarding the reasoning behind a mayor vote.
Am I even close to having that right, diva?
Anyway, I believe there are numerous ways to look at it. I do tend to look at the early voters with a bit more scrutiny. I like to wait for a bit more participation and have more to read before mayor voting. I would rather have someone who leaves a solid town impression early on.
This is prolly why I don't ever get a mayor vote in.
