Shit! It's getting worse and worse with each news reports.

Definitely sounds like a terrorist attack now.

Three explosions on buses and various explosions on the underground.

I just read about it. That sucks.

And Blair will somehow claim that he's been fighting terrorism for two years, which is bullshit.

BBC: Several injured in Londond blasts.

I have just spoken to my Brother, who works in the City. He's fine but obviously is stuck up there. All our phone lines are busy or down.

What a nightmare.

They're saying it looks like the work of Al Qaeda:

It is probably wise to wait for the hubbub to die down. We are going to hear a lot of wild accusations and rumours in the next few days...

Jesus. And I was bitching about the flash floods in my neighborhood last night. I'm glad y'all checked in, Lees and Moosie. I'd like to hear from cep too, just to be sure. (I know he's not in London per se, but he travels a lot.)

I don't think Al Qaeda is a particularly wild accusation.

There are some hallmarks that suggest Al Qaeda, and the G8 meeting brings together a bunch of people that Al Qaeda doesn't like.

I'm watching the News on my computer at the moment. It's quite a bit worse than I first thought.

As an Australian, I find it rather distressing, more so than recent terrorist attacks. Call me an old-fashioned loyalist if you will, but I've always been a big fan of the British!

First Bali, now this. Ohhh boy. Nowhere is safe anymore...

Ah bless! My stepson just rang me from Australia in a bit of a panic. He couldn't get through at first!

An email just went round where I work, saying that they've asked everybody to move to the back of the building. Sounds a bit ominous.

Move to the back of the building? Eek, why are they asking that?

Where in London are you?

The building is part of the Broadgate Estates which is all around and on top of Liverpool Street station. Although, a previous email said they were putting evacuees in the same building.

Confusion reigns.

Yeah, I noticed that too! He's not very charismatic, is he? Bush knew how to make the best of a bad situation.

Apparently, there were two suspect packages in one of the streets at the front of the building. They have been given the all clear and everybody is back at their desks.

I did wonder if he was perhaps wearing an ear piece and having the speech dictated to him which would explain all the long pauses .. I suppose he could have just been in shock though and groping for something to say.

I'm guessing that it's shock. His voice sounded very flat, his heart wasn't in it. I think he's finally realized what he's put on the line by allying himself with Bush.

Yes could be.

Haven't heard a peep out of Bush about this so far but then I guess it's still very early there.
