After his district tying him up in red tape and threatening his job for the last two weeks, (seriously, he was even placed on the termination list- despite the fact that he had done everything he was told to do in the time given to him) Mr. Monde has cut through it all and preserved his job! HR finally was able to listen to his principal's recommendation and put him forward for renewed contract. Thanks to whatever lucky stars protect artists, teachers, and my man. I'm also grateful for his principal, who had his back, his Fine Arts Director, who kept him informed, and of course my man for jumping through administrative loops like some kinda Spiderman superhero. They kept moving the goal posts, he kept nailing it every time.

Dear God the anxiety these last two weeks has been brutal. This little bit of security is all we have right now. I don't know what we would have done.
