Good economy news
Businesses are growing more confident in the economy, investing in more equipment and laying off fewer workers.
Government figures on manufacturing and unemployment claims released Thursday raised hopes on the eve of a report on how much the economy grew in the October-December quarter.
Orders for manufactured goods expected to last at least three years rose 3 percent last month, the Commerce Department said. And demand for goods that indicate business investment plans hit an all-time high.

Rick, when you quote someone, put the quote in quotes and link to the original. Use an actual working link, please, not an idiotic AOL login prompt.

Sorry, I didn't know. The source seemed OK when I posted it the usual way. I'm into so many threads it's hard to keep track.
Why the tar and feathers? And why the collective chorus of me toos (13)? It isn't as though I'm a chronic rule breaker.

Not so much a rule breaker as a Timecube-themed Turing test.

Actually, it has been pointed out that many of his OP's are copy paste jobs straight up ganked with no attribution.
So, yeah. On that Rick has been a chronic rule breaker.

You're right. I don't embrace artificial intelligence and I am am old.
How can man clone his intelligence when he doesn't understand his own?
I've yet to see a block diagram or schematic of any kind

It was either Stephen or Maturin.
