Most of the time, that's true. Zsa Zsa and Flossy keep their nails in good shape just by going for walks, but Buddy's are impervious. Something about him being light and how he walks sort of mincey, I guess. He needs nail trims on the regular. Of course, he's the one dog who flips his shit entirely when you mess around with his feet, so he needs to take an anxiety pill and then go to the vet to get it done.

And he gets FOUR WALKS A DAY. Every now and again, five. So it's not like he isn't out there pounding the pavement.

They are already bored with the TV. When I came home yesterday evening they had opened the drawer where I keep the Nintendo DS cartridges. :glare:

ETA: I also keep my Magic: the gathering cards in there so they might have been after those. :undunno:

I rearranged my office a while back, so I face a corner, not the middle of the room. There's enough room under the desk to fit the dog bed without me stepping or touching her, and Tally often sleeps there now. I've got a little cat bed at the end of the desk for one of the cats, if they want it.

So today, every single pet is here with me while I work, Sophie in the cat bed, Tally in her bed, and Ebony asleep next to the dog. Which I just found out about by accidentally kicking her.

That's 4 mammals in a square meter, here.
