We live in a patriarchy according to feminist so......Why the vast majority of inmates are male?

Because in our freemarket for profit slave prison state Men are more profitable workers than women. Black men are also seen as more dangerous to the wholesome white population and are thus more likely to be attacked and arrested by white run slave traders (police) than women.
I was recently introduced to the word kyriarchy, which is about the intersectionality of oppression (gender, race, sexual orientation and identity, and class).

wait...what???
are you saying men actually should be paid more? huh.
and, uh...i think i'm just gonna spend the rest of my days here pointing out racism because really- who said anything about black people and what would make you say that about black men? the system we live in obviously favours white people and this places many who aren't white in a more desperate kind of class where crime becomes a necessity...like poverty.
oh and i guess because they have bigger penises?
do any of you actually really read what you're writing?
i read what i'm writing and then realize how terrible i am at grammar and sentence structure.

Fascinating you would read it that way.

Well, no discussion on the US incarceration system is complete without a talk about race, especially black men.
"The drug war is totally about race." - Matthew Fogg former DEA
"One of Richard Nixon’s closest aides, H. R. Haldeman, said he remembers Nixon saying that blacks were the real problem and we have to figure out a way to deal with them without appearing to. That was right before he started the drug war." - Former Undercover Narcotics Officer.
So yes, based on the people doing the arresting, black men are being targeted by the police in part because they look more dangerous than whites.

Do you remember when I said in some other threads of yours: "Congratulations! That's your dumbest thread yet!"? And i was always sure that it couldn't get worse. It just couldn't. Well ...

oh i won't argue that. i'm just pointing out how black people weren't mentioned in the first place. what i find honestly interesting is how much people here like to mention black people, when i'm fairly certain a large majority of the people here are white and of the same mindset in regard to their social situation.

So...no change from current state?
my definition comes straight from the dictionary. here's noun number one from the Oxford online dictionary:
Quote:
1The belief that all members of each race possess characteristics, abilities, or qualities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races:
that applies to everybody here, even terrible, horrible, evil-doing, white men. now whether it's nature or nurture, i can't scientifically say, but i do have a hunch that it starts out in our bones before it's worked on in our minds.

Ooh! Can I play? Mad Libs:
[Everyone/ no one] in [a geographical location/ this forum] is [always / never / totally] straight up [racist / groupthinking / unaware / able to grok]; whereas I [ZEZOZE / ITSOZAZ / ITSOZ / Jesus Lawyer] am so [outside the box / keeping it real / unphased by your conventions and taboos] that I dare to tell you how things really are. I don't have any [evidence / basis / coherent thought] for my beliefs other than the fact that I vaguely thought about it for at least as long as it took me to type this while [laying low from my gay mafia bosses at work / taking a dump / producing selfies / all of the above]. But I figure that's good enough, plus I've moved on already, at least [mentally. / physically on my bike. / ...what were we talking about? / ... look! Something shiny]

OK, I know my time is limited before you lose interest and head off to ride your bike or chase butterflies or whatever it is you pretend to be doing when you don't have an answer to a question, but here goes...
How does Ari pointing out that the prison-industrial complex is massively biased against black men in particular demonstrate his holding "[t]he belief that all members of each race possess characteristics, abilities, or qualities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races"? Are you counting "being discriminated against by the prison-industrial complex" as a "characteristic, ability, or quality"?
