I've listened to some of his local cable channel show before. It's like Wayne's World for angry black men.

I think he stopped caring what anyone thought back when he was in elementary school about the time blacks got the right to use the same drinking fountains. I remember him talking about the racial slurs his kindergarten teacher used.

So he doesn't have a history of putting much stock in white people's opinions of him.

I don't know where you're from in town, but I have the unique perspective of having had grown up in the North Omaha, the heart of ghetto, and 40 years ago it was bad. Bad because of people breaking the law,robbery, rape, assault at a per capita rate that probably puts the violence on a scale of, oh I don't know Denver or Detroit. And since most of the population is black in north omaha, it stands to reason that more black people are breaking the law in north
Omaha. I can tell you for a fact they are. People aren't gunned down by cops for minding their own beeswax, it's because the police determine immediate danger is involved. And what's a cop supposed to do if an armed man waves a gun around? Hand him an olive leaf and ask him if he wants to talk things through?

Omaha, or North Omaha if we want, is literally the worst place to live in the Unites States if you're black.

Nebraska has the highest black homicide rate in US

Nebraska in this case being basically North Omaha because of the statistical probability of being black in other parts of the state approach zero outside of Omaha and small areas of Lincoln.

Crime tracking shows the area to stay out of between sunset and sunrise.

North of I-80 and east of 72nd street is a good bet, but I'd say as you go East if you can stay away from the area North of Dodge and East of 40th street you'll probably do fine.

Omaha doesn't have the best record of race relations going back to the late 1800s.

Ernie emerged during the riots of the 1960s, was some sort of community organizer, a barber who got a law degree, and has been in the state legislature since 1970. They passed term limits to get rid of him, but the limits only make you sit out for a while, so he's back.
