The plot centres on an innocuous post, and the sprawling thread of trolling and butthurt that builds from it, suggesting that "Free Thought" is actually a genuine movement with serious (or at least enthusiastic) adherents, and more controversially that the apparently unquestioned Sovereignism is in fact an intellectual wankfest of a BDSM fantasy.

Okay, let's pretend for a moment that this is actually true.

Natural selection tends to favor making beneficial alleles* dominant. On the whole, recessive alleles are more likely to be neutral (that is, to have no effect) or deleterious (that is, harmful). Indeed, strongly deleterious alleles are almost always recessive.


So, what does this tell you?

That means that when science and medicine start using gene therapy more, white DNA will likely be the one that shows them what to attack or activate.

Only if you mean by this claim that "white DNA" is more likely to contain deleterious recessive alleles whose effects we want to counter.

And as has already been pointed out, Africans are the most genetically-diverse of human groups. So if we were to pick one human group and say "these are the ones whose genes can best help us come up with cures for genetic disorders" -- guess which group would be the most logical to choose?


*I presume you mean alleles, and not genes. The terms "dominant" and "recessive" don't really apply to genes, but to their allelic variants.
