peacegirl, that seems like something you could do even if you just have snapshots of pages that are online.
But I'm game. Page 66.

The Corrupted Text is corrupt because it is composed of words other than the author's own words.
There is only one authentic text, and that is the Authentic Text written by the author and published in his lifetime. Other texts are corrupt, like the Corrupted Text.

Thus turning it into a vehicle for your own anti-scientific prejudices, and making it seem like he held beliefs he never held. As if the book did not have enough difficulty getting any academic attention!
And I guess it is the very fact that you do not even think there is anything wrong with that that explains how the text got so corrupted in the first place. You have absolutely no problem with injecting your own biases and opinions into these books. You think that is perfectly fine.
|
There is nothing corrupt about the text. Most of the book is comprised of Lessans' own words.
|
At this point it is abundantly clear that you've lost whatever ability you might have once had to distinguish the Messiah's words from your own ghastly depredations.
Shameful.

So you consign the Authentic Text to your closet, forgotten (literally forgotten - you don't even recognize it when you see it!), and hawk your Corrupted Text instead.
As you so incredibly hilariously said to me, I don't believe you have the book in your possession as you claim.

I added a few examples and a few words here and there. I also took out the word "molecules", which you already know. I did not change the concepts at all. You can keep telling me that I corrupted the work, but I took great pains to do just the opposite. My only goal was to compile his books so that the work would be more easily understood. I also realized that although he was trying to ease into his discovery by using a dialogue format, ignorant people would take it as fodder for Saturday Night Live and run with it. His first book he claimed he was from another planet and was bringing new knowledge to us earthlings. He did this because the knowledge is so fantastic that many people are just too skeptical to believe someone from earth could make such a discovery. Unfortunately, this didn't work either. People who believed in aliens and UFO's were calling him.

If you don't want to put the photo on Imgur or similar, you can attach it to your post on directly. You first need to transfer the photo from your camera to your PC.
Then, when you're making a post, scroll down a bit any you will see an "Attach Files" section. Click on the the "Manage Attachments button". In the window that opens, click on the "Browse..." button and navigate to the folder on your PC where the photo is. Click on the photo file and then click the "Open" button.
Now in the window you opened before, you'll see the file name of the photo next to the "Browse..." button. Click on the "Upload" button to the right of that. Now you can close the "Manage Attachments" window finish off your post and post it in the normal way.
Your photo will show as a thumbnail attachment at the bottom of your post and people can click on the thumbnail to see the full-size version. I attached a random small image to this post so you can see what it looks like.

peacegirl, do you disagree with peacegirl when she says that the Messiah's last book was the one in which he claimed to be from another planet?
If the Messiah did in fact choose you as the steward of his life's work -- and that's a rather large "if" considering we have no proof beyond the word of a proven liar -- then he could not have made a poorer choice.

That's a nice random pull quote that demonstrates Lessans' academic rigor and devotion to philosophical thought.
Who is "Jim" in this example? Is this supposed to be Spock explaining a particular juicy cunt scenario to Captain Kirk?

The mathematics are quite challenging, I don't know if you will be able to follow it:

That sounds easy enough. I just have to learn how to transfer the photo to my PC. There a few different ways to do this from what I'm reading. I am not technical which is part of the problem as to why I haven't done more with my website. Anyone want to help me?

I just read these two pages. He did joke a lot to lighten up the conversation. Looking back, I don't think it was the best idea (although very few people actually read this version) because most people would not get past the Rin Tin Tin part. You use these humorous pages as some kind of proof that he was a fool when he was a genius. You're just trying to squeeze out as much lulz as you can by taking everything out of context. If that's your goal, you will never understand the seriousness of this discovery.

Of course you changed the concepts! He did NOT say that if God turned on the sun at noon, we would see it instantly. YOU said that! He said the opposite, as we now know, now that we have seen the authentic text before you corrupted it.
Quote:

Are you saying there is still an earlier "authentic" text, even before the one ChuckF holds in his hands? Just how many "authentic" texts are there? Like turtles, is it "authentic" texts all the way down?
Quote:
Unfortunately, this didn't work either. People who believed in aliens and UFO's were calling him.

Didn't work?
Are you kidding me? Do you know how many people believe in aliens and alien visitations, and how much disposable income they have? If you had kept the original version of the work, with him posing as an alien, you might already have had a best seller! You have no marketing sense at all, do you?
BTW, if you would ever bother to read a link given you, you would know that Norman Swartz, in his book The Concept of Physical Law, posed as a Martian to bring new knowledge to earth!

Re: A revolution in thought
I'd just like to point out that it took me all of four minutes to provide photographic proof that I possess the Authentic Text (which peacegirl didn't even recognize when she saw it!)
If peacegirl were really the steward, would it take her this long to provide such basic evidence of stewardship? That should be easy for the true steward of the Authentic Text - but peacegirl can't do it.
