What do you think of Ouija boards?
I played Virtual Ouija board today and the website said dont play by yourself or you'll get posessed. I asked it different things and it told me there's a God but no afterlife, I'll never get married, my atheism isnt good, and I should convert to Islam and Christianity and one time it said future. lol I enjoy these things fucking with the so called supernatural. I've heard stories of ouija boards but they dont prove shit.
http://www.true-ghost-stories.com/Ouija.html are the stories.
http://www.museumoftalkingboards.com/WebOuija.html?
I think this is bullshit and plan on asking if it will posess me. lol What do you think of ouija boards. I plan on buying a real one to fuck with.

Re: What do you think of Ouija boards?
I rather strongly suspect that it's all a bunch of hooey. Try it blindfolded with someone else present to record what happens. I'm betting all you'll get is gibberish.
You might find the ideomotor effect to be of interest.
Cheers,
Michael

Re: What do you think of Ouija boards?
I remember getting in a dark closet with my best friend, a Ouija board and a flashlight and asking it who would be the love of my life. "D" was all I got. D? I dated a Diane once, but she's now a lesbian. I kind of wondered at the time why she seemed kind of distant when I tried to make out with her. I went out with another Diane a couple of times when I was 17. Never saw her again. I dated a Dana, but I think "she" might have been a man. No such luck.
Ouija boards are bunk, total bunk.

Re: What do you think of Ouija boards?
I tried asking it simple questions like "Does 2 + 1 = 3?".
The spirits suck at math, apparently, because they got it wrong as often as they got it right.

Michael

I love it how so many threads on this board eventually end up incorporating discussions of bras and/or boobs.
Anyway, it's all a crock of shit, as much as psychics and the rest of it.

I just asked the virtual one who my father was, and it said "you".
I strongly suspect that it doesn't know it's ass from a hole in the ground.

They're a waste of paper, cardboard and plastic. The only remotely useful thing you can do with them is use the lens to focus sunlight on a sunny day to burn leaves, paper and ants.

Warren, this is exactly the kind of evidence you need. You were sceptical and doubted. Then you had bad experiences. Seems pretty conclusive to me.

If that's all you're supposed as the Ouija, why does it have all the alphabet and numerals?

I have difficulty believing that anything manufactured by Parker Brothers can contact the spirit world.

If you're artistically inclined, they make lovely artwork. Aside from that, they're a waste of space.

Re: What do you think of Ouija boards?
Ouija boards are extremely useful, and all your snide, skeptical attitudes just blind you to the possibilities. Of course you shouldn't do it alone; the proper use of this device is convincing your partner you're not the one moving it. If you guide the questions creatively as well, you can reap financial rewards, sexual conquests, or whatever the spirit moves you toward. A waste, indeed.

Strange choice for a sex toy but ... to each their own.
Personally, I think ouija boards are a "Tool of the Devil (tm)".
