Passers-by greet the horse, and the tram drivers are also familiar with it. According to her owner, Jenny covers up to 20 kilometers on her daily route. "Nothing has ever happened," said the 79-year-old.

Jenny is known to the Frankfurt police, but not because of any operations: "We have never had to take action," said spokeswoman Isabell Neumann. The animal also has a note on its halter with the text: "My name is Jenny, I didn't run away, just going for a walk. Thank you."

I must admit to being a hypocrite about this as it both annoys me greatly to see race horses listed in Wikipedia’s “People who have died” page, and yet a horse that wanders the town saying Hi to babies is totally a person!
