I remain impressed with British multi-instrumentalist Pete Jones. Here he is with one of his bands, Red Bazar, doing a Rush cover at an event to honor the late, great Neil Peart and raise money to combat brain cancer.

I learned something about Tubular Bells this weekend so I'm listening to the album while working. It's kind of amusing how non-threatening the part used for "The Exorcist" is in context of the larger performance.
I'll probably pull up some more Mike Oldfield instrumental stuff for background music while working.

Here's my favorite contemporary bass player putting some special touches on my favorite tune from Steven Wilson's latest album. Navarro, who played bass on Porcupine Tree's tours in 2022 and part of 2023, played on two songs on the record, but not this one.
The drummer on this tune is an American jazz guy named Nate Wood. Hadn't heard of him before, but damn, the boy can play!
