Seriously I just got off the phone with Cade's other mom, and she feels totally harassed. She has no transportation back down to Asheville and isn't being allowed to move on. I was bawling for her.

They can come home! After a shitstorm of a day we got on the phone with the right people to get shit done.

Every single issue stemmed from the 2 attorneys in NC completely mishandling the case from day one.

I predict a concise, well-worded, detailed complaint to the NC bar association in the near future.

I also wonder if the NC ICPC official was just doing some territorial pissing? I thought it was funny you weren't allowed to call her directly, she would only deal with your lawyers, but she felt free to call the birth mom directly instead of contacting your lawyers.

That was her attorney that called her, not ICPC. She had left the country even though she had been notified the paperwork was not in order and when she got back was spooked because she fucked up and so called the b'mom with all those threats.
