Re: Countdown from one million thread
990,346 just one more thing on this and then I'll shut up.
A member of our support desk just called me and asked if they could be given rights to kill SPIDs on the sql server.
Yeah, right, mate!
Hey Crumb.

Re: Countdown from one million thread
My new camera arrived today
I tried the memory card that came with my original digitial camera in it, and it holds one whole photo in standard mode but isn't big enough to hold a single picture in 'fine' mode.
I'd also ordered a 1GB card for the new camera though, and while that won't hold 990,343 photos, it does have room enough for plenty.

990,340 He's in fine fettle, Smilin. As he told me in one of his classic TMI moments, once he "splashed" he felt ever so much better, and decided to spend the rest of the day running errands.

Nah. I'm scared of spiders, but I don't like to kill them, so I use one of these gadgets (as recommended by a poster) to catch and release them away from the house.
To stop them running straight back in the house, I now release the spiders near my garage. At least a couple of them have taken to living inside my car's wing mirrors - they get to see more of the world that way, though they do have to spin new webs after each drive blows their previous one away.

Re: Countdown from one million thread
990,330 That right Crumb! Any species that reproduces by the millions, can stand to lose a few.
Most of the time, it's my wife who insists I kill it, otherwise I would just let it be (they are pretty cool). I did refuse to kill the giant Garden spider that took up residence in one of my shrubs. They are poisonous, and I have kids, but it was so beautiful I couldn't bring myself to do it in.

990,327 lol. On my screen, it's pretty close. It was about 4 or 5 inches from the tip of the front leg to the tip of the back. I've always heard they were poisonous, but I just checked and that's not true. However, they are quite large.
