Okay, well yesterday when I was heating up the frying pan for like the 10th time, I noticed a tiny bit of steam escaping. So today I took the pan out of the fridge and straight on to the hot burner, after about 5 minutes the steam started coming out so I took a towel and sealed it, held the towel tight to block the steam. After about another 5 minutes steam started escaping the other side of the lid.
I covered that side too and then steam started coming from another area. Then I grabbed the Jamie Oliver handle and pulled as hard as I could and it popped off
By the way, it stank to high heaven
