To the extent that this is true -- which may not be a great extent -- it's largely owing to the work of women who did indeed "take rights away" that many men believed they possessed. It's a good thing for you that not everyone was so reluctant to be considered radical.
To my mind your characterizations of "radical feminism" perpetuate the media misrepresentations of feminism, rather than transcending them.

And apparently my whole post was lost on you. You can't seriously compare the founding mothers of feminism to the radical feminists today.

I confess I don't entirely know what you mean by the "founding mothers" or "the" radical feminists today. But many of those who would merit the former label, as I would use it, had ideas that would
still be lampooned as radical -- and for their time they were simply outrageous. Luckily for you, they didn't regard that accusation as a show-stopper.

Those women were lifting women up with men, today people think it's about pushing men down in the process too. As I said, the vast majority of feminists are more moderate. People's perceptions of feminism lean towards what they see on the media and that is only the fringes of feminism.

I don't think it was lost on me that this was your claim. It strikes me as repeating the media myths about "radical" feminism -- whatever that is; there are many sorts, radical in very different ways -- rather than looking past the myths.

I believe in equality, some would rather degrade others in the process.

And again.

I'm sorry if some here don't like my take on feminism, but all those women that fought for my rights gives ME the right to have my own interpretation. Ha! Imagine that.

You always had the "right" to have your own interpretation. Now you have the opportunities to publicize it, and to have it taken seriously -- even to the extent of having its deficiencies seen as worthy of discussion.
