I am happy to see that at least one state in fifty is actually decent enough to do the right thing given the political climate. I dont think that a law allowing marriage for gay couples would pass, [spoiler=digression]while civil unions arent quite the same, separate but equal aint fucking equal and all that[/spoiler] it is good to see that everywhere isnt like the great state of georgia where they passed an amendment by popular vote banning gay marriage.
