It's a bit milder here today, so I've taken the chance to fit new brake pads to my car - I've been meaning to do that for the last couple of months but it's been too cold, wet or snowy (my garage isn't big enough for this kind of work, so I have to do it outside).

For some weird reason, my kind of car wears out the rear brakes faster than the fronts so I've only changed the rear pads today. They lasted 107,000 miles and look as though they might have made another 30,000 or so! I'll probably change the fronts next weekend, if it's mild. Although they don't need doing yet, the new ones will last the car out anyway.
