Art North Korean Propaganda Posters

I'm just glad to see there are still countries producing them. I miss propaganda posters. :longing:

"Let’s drive the US imperialists out and reunite the fatherland!"

"Let's extensively raise goats in all families!"

"The US is truly an Axis of Evil."

Someone once suggested that U.S. policy toward NK should be directed not toward its reform, but rather the preservation of its regime, so people would have a real-life, cautionary example of Stalinist totalitarianism in action to refer to. To which we may now add, a real-life example of Stalinist totalitarianism with which we can compare the Obama administration.

(Sorry, I caught a bit of Sean Hannity's "town hall" with Mark Levin last night on the radio, and it's still fresh in my mind.)

Jesus. At least Stalinist propaganda posters have artistic merit.

I know, but at the time, the other two cable news stations on XM Radio were featuring Larry King interviewing Jermaine Jackson and Nancy Grace meting out "justice."

The US military is recycling some of the WWII posters they used to use, the whole 'Loose lips sink ships' sortof deal. Now, if only they'd recycle the WWII uniform instead of murdering the Blues like they're planning to. They've also created some new ones in the old style.

There's a very good one that you need to look for a minute before you realise the the 'bullets' on the belt of a machinegun shooting at Americans are actually USB drives. I need to photograph it, I can't find it online.

I love me some propaganda posters. The clawed Uncle Sam hand measuring off the distance to NK with a compass made of missiles is my favorite, although I'm sort of confused as to why the bomb is labeled "USA". Is there a secret program to load the entire country into an ICBM and fire it at NK?

Oh man, I hope they revive those awesome VD ones. :crossed:

I'm not crazy about that one. It lacks the graphic impact of the best propaganda. There's also way too much small print and the slogan is corporate lame.

Yeah, that one is way off.

It's supposed to say:

INFORMATION SECURITY
Begins With You!

Edit:  CT, you can take photographs at work where the poster is?
