Re: Gush, Babble, and Glow Happily Thread
Today turned out to be such a beautiful day for going topless.
The next two days are supposed to be just like it. I see a trip down the Natchez Trace in my future.

Re: Gush, Babble, and Glow Happily Thread
I ... I think I'm in love with my little red go-cart. (Yes, it calls itself a car but it's so low to the ground that ... yeah. Go-cart.)
My friend and I took 'er out this afternoon and I had fun taking it around curves and making sharp turns. Handles like a dream! My friend is younger and cuter and blonder than I am so she was the perfect accessory to have, blond tresses blowing in the wind. (I have this idea that people are looking in disgust at the gray-haired fat chick driving that tame little beast.)
So much fun but I didn't leave early enough to go on the Natchez. (Damned housework.) Tomorrow for sure!

curses. I almost bought a blue beetle a few years back and I had already named it that on the test drive. Great minds...
Happy driving!

I'm proud to say that I have been back to work for a month and the ninja has had no formula. Pumping at work hasn't been easy, especially when I had 4 days I had to travel as soon as I got back, but I'm doing it! I only have two more months until I hit my goal of breastfeeding for at least 6 months!

Re: Gush, Babble, and Glow Happily Thread
I am now happily surfing/downloading/uploading/streaming/etc the net with Comcast business class internet with no usage cap ... AND ... with average speeds of 33 mbps download / 6.25 upload.
And, all that goodness for only $30 a month more, which the kid will be paying seeing how it's his excessive usage of teh nets that brought this on.

Re: Gush, Babble, and Glow Happily Thread
No usage cap. *grits teeth*
33mbps. *wails*
Uncapped accounts are available in SA ... at about 512Kbps.
33mbps is not available at all, from any provider.

Re: Gush, Babble, and Glow Happily Thread
<- filled with happy
Today the weather was extremely nice and they only had me working for 3 hours, so when I got home I thought "Why not take Marble on her first walk so I can spend time with her and we can get out in the good weather?" (I just found out she has a tumor and is getting really old and may not have much longer to live. She was our very first rat and lewis and I are really attached)
And she was so extremely happy that she was bruxing (which is when they get so happy they grind their teeth together, and if they do it hard enough their eyes boggle out of their head like this o_o O_O o_o O_O o_o) And she stayed curled up under my neck and was extremely patient the whole time <33
Then when I got home Waffle climbed into my lap to get pets and proceeded to give me kisses while I scratched his ears. And now he is taking a nap on the floor beside me!
The good weather and my babies have made me so happy ;v;

I don't know whether anyone here would understand a word of the above, but:
I got to write a significant and non-trivial hunk of software for $DAYJOB, and release it as open source. WOOOOO!

 for SharonDee
Today was one of THE most beautiful days of my life.
(I even got to watch someone who had been a complete ass get pulled over by a State Trooper on the highway. AND... Better yet! The complete ass wasn't me this time! )

Ooh! The weather geeks are predicting that the sun will finally show its face this afternoon, pushing temps into the 60's. Time to take the red go-cart out today!
