This semester: 99, 96 and, erm, 73. Handing in the major assessment a few days late really brought that last one down. There were reasons, but nothing I felt justified asking for consideration for. I'm really pleased with the first two though, which were papers on plant ecology and data analysis with R, respectively.

Now I have to decide on the next step...

Oh yeah, I'm taking a break from formal study until next year, although I'll be helping out with a couple of experiments and suchlike.

Fall semester starts on August 1 at UGA, but classes don't start until the 16th, so what that means to me is that I start working my half-time hours on Monday but without having to attend classes for two more weeks.



When do your schools start, all y'all that are gearing up for fall?

I've already started my last semester of my Biomed degree. Already up to week five. Finish in October.

End of August for me. Looking forward to it, but nervous. I've got a lot of catching up to do for my new Major.

Didn't get into med school. My GAMSAT score would have got me in this year and last. The calibre of applicants must have been good. Now, come November, I need to find something to do with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science.

I believe my fall classes start on Labor Day (6 Sep). I've got my final for my current class in about 2 weeks, the 18th. Only 4 more actual class days left.

Entering the last week of my two class five week summer session sprint, I have lost my thumb drive.

I was so tired and sick of the world at the end of the week I must have left it at the lab. Say a prayer to whatever diety protects haggard students and air traffic controllers for me that it will be there tomorrow. I someone took it, I know of a special circle in Hell reserved for those who would do such a thing at such a time.

I have back ups on my school drive, but I will be at a serious disadvantage working on my final papers without being able to take it home with me. Thank goodness it's almost over!

Woo hoo! Week 10 is here. 2 more actual classes (well, one is just a review session) and then the final next week! Then just 2 more quarters to go!

Thanks frag. Yep, I too have returned prolly dozens of the little guys for karma. I checked with the techs and emailed the head honcho. Nada for me. I have a new one on my keychain and an alarm on my phone to remind me to back up on my uni drive.

I thanked that because scores in the hundreds look awesome but I have no idea what a GRE is.

I don't know how the GRE is scored, but if those were SAT scores I'd be all ! and

Same general scale as the SAT (before they added the writing section).

It seemed to me when I took it that the math section was just as easy as the SAT, but the verbal section was a bit harder.
