Re: What's for Lunch?
Today was our treaty meal. We went to Bahama Breeze. I had jerk chicken, black beans, and fried plantains. God plantains are awesome.

Re: What's for Lunch?
Update: the person making the meatballs changed her mind and brought chicken and rice casserole. We also had spaghetti salad, which chocolate dipped strawberries & dried fruit, shrimp fried rice, more wings, an edible arrangement and some wrap sandwiches I didn't get around to trying. Also I forgot to say that it was Italian mac and cheese with spinach and artichoke in it.
All in all I think we gave her an excellent sendoff. She loves my cupcakes so I let her take a container of 8 home and she took some of the shortbread as well. She seemed pretty happy and not just to be GTFO of here.

Re: What's for Lunch?
Had a doctor's appointment near home, so stopped by for lunch. Mrs. ShottleBop was out. I had walnuts, a can of Crown Prince Smoked Oysters, a 1/2 cup of homemade low-carb chocolate ice cream (coconut cream, cocoa powder, egg, and stevia), and a cup of Creme Brulee-flavored coffee.

Breakfast was for lunch today.
Couple slices of crispy bacon, hash brown potatoes, 2 eggs over easy, and toast with butter and honey.

Re: What's for Lunch?
Chicken nuggets or soup, or both, maybe together, depending on the kind of soup I can find.

Re: What's for Lunch?
El Portrero! My sister and I have been making plans to lunch there for over a month and they've all fallen through. So, chimichanga lunch special for me and maybe a Mexican coke, since I haven't yet had the one pop a week I allow myself.

I had "Lisa Pea's Leftover Potato Soup," but it's pretty obscure, so there's no website.

Re: What's for Lunch?
I tried to make chilaquiles. I don't think I was completely successful. I let the tortillas chill in the sauce too long and it got a little soft. But, overall, it were tasteful.

Re: What's for Lunch?
Liverwurst and Vidalia onion sandwich on sourdough. The Vidalia and liverwurst make sweet, sweet music together, although they wouldn't for lisarea's purposes because Vidalias don't give you monster onion breath.

Re: What's for Lunch?
I had a chili dog from QuikTrip. I couldn't get their ketchup bottle to squirt, so I went without. It sucked, but it was edible and filled that hotdog-shaped hole in my gut.

Re: What's for Lunch?
Not just today but ALL week!

Curried Lentils with Chickpeas and Cauliflower
Add in some coconut Jasmine Rice and Chicken Curry with Cashews, and it will be awesome.
Only one minor problem. The lentil recipe called for pureeing the garlic and ginger in a blender, which I did. I should have strained it afterwards because I have little gingery fibers all through it.
