This probably won't mean much to anyone very far beyond the state borders, but
Bill Sizemore, the state's leading whackjob initiative petitioner, was cited for contempt for failing to file the appropriate federal and state nonprofit corporation applications. This was the fourth time he had appeared before the judge and she read out a two-hour statement as to why he was being cited for contempt, and he was handcuffed and led out of the courtroom.
He can petition hundreds of thousands of state residents, but he can't seem to fill out his forms correctly. Somehow, the money tended to go to things which state law doesn't seem to allow.
I still think that he should be tried (and convicted, I hope) on fraud charges and put him away for the requisite amount of time.
If we could just keep him there.
